Brent is a Middle Tennessee native, originally born and raised in Carthage TN. A hard-working, competitive person, he has never met a stranger and enjoys going out of his way to help people. Treating people with respect is how he was raised and an invaluable trait he learned through his early years on the golf course.
Brent started playing competitive golf at the age of 8. He became a TSSAA Individual State Champion his sophomore year at Smith County High School. This allowed Brent to be highly recruited by colleges all over the country, finally landing him at Western Kentucky University were he spent his college career. A turning point in his life was when he won the Individual Sun Belt Conference Championship and decided to pursue a professional golf career. Brent played professional golf for 7 years (2008-14) on several tours all over the world (Hooters Tour, Canadian Tour, Latino American Tour, Nationwide Tour, and Web.com Tour). Also in those seven years, he competed on The Golf Channel TV show The Big Break and caddied for Scott Stallings in Three Major Championships on the PGA Tour (US Open, PGA Championship, British Open.)
While on the road pursuing his dreams, he met his wife Ann in 2012 through a mutual friend in Dallas TX. In 2015, they welcomed their beautiful daughter named Lux who has them both wrapped around her little finger. Upon starting a family, Brent decided to give up his professional golf and pursue a career in Real Estate in Middle Tennessee. Brent is excited about what the future holds for him here at John Jones Real Estate.
